How do I get started using the Expekt.com services?
In order to be able to use the Expekt.com services you first need to open an account with us. To open an account is free of charge. You then need to be logged in to bet and play. To play poker you also first need to download our poker client, which you will find in the poker lobby. Below you will find the steps you need to go through in order to open an account:
- Choose the currency you would like to bet with. It should be the same
currency as on your bank account.
- Choose your Username and Password.
- Fill in your name, address, email and telephone number (all information
will be treated confidentially).
- Read through our “Terms & Conditions” by clicking on the link. Tick the
box to the left when you have accepted the conditions.
- You have now been accepted as a customer of Expekt.com. Please make sure
that your details are correct and clicks continue.
- If there are any details you would like to change, please go to
“Account” and “Personal Details” when you are logged on to the site. Here
you may change all your details except username and currency. Do not forget
to confirm your changes at the bottom of the page.

You need to be logged in to place a bet. You place a bet simply by clicking on the odds you wish to bet on. As you click on an odds slip will appear on the left hand side of the screen. If you regret betting on a certain event or odds click on the rubbish bin next to it in the slip. This is only an option up until the point you have confirmed your bet. It is not possible to change or cancel any slips that you have already betted on and confirmed.
From the moment you confirm your bet until the result is set, your slip can be found under “pending” and will afterwards be moved to “history”. The setting of the result is done as soon as possible after the match is finished. All results have to be confirmed by two independent sources before they are set to minimize wrong results.
| How do Special Bets work?
Special bets are additional betting options on events. The most common way to bet on a soccer game is to bet on 1, X or 2. Special bets gives you the chance to also bet on the first scorer, half time result, correct score etc. Not all events have special bets. How many special bets offered, you can see after the 1, X or 2 bet (+5 or +4 depending on how many specials). Below you will find all the various special bets we offer:
Multiple Bets
Create a single bet or a multiple bet by combining several bets within one slip, which will give you higher odds. You will only win a multiple bet if all selections in one slip are correct.
Handicap Bets
For the purpose of deciding results on a Handicap Bet, a number of goals (or half-goals) are added to, or subtracted from, the total goals scored by the team indicated. Settlement on the Handicap List will be at the special odds shown alongside its matches, using the actual score in the match adjusted for the 'handicap'.
Double Chance
You can choose to bet on two alternatives, within one bet. You can bet 1&X, 1&2 or X&2.
Halftime/Fulltime
Bet on the outcome after the first half and the final result. If you think that there will be no goals in the first half of the match between Roma and Juventus, but that Juventus will go on to win the match, you should bet X/2.
Correct Score
Bet on the final score in a game.
Over/Under
Bet on the total amount of goals scored in one match, more or less than 2.5 for example.
First Scorer
Bet on the player who will score the first goal of the match.
Last Scorer
Bet on the player who will score the last goal of the match.
Winner Bet
Bets can be placed on individual starters to win the race/event
H2H
Bets on the winner between two given contestants within a race/event
| How do System Bets work?
In a system bet you can have one or more incorrect results within your slip and still receive winnings. This is because your bet will be combined within several slips, between 3-247. Read more about the system bet alternatives we provide under “help system bets”.
When you are betting on system bets please note that you are betting on a specific number of slips. This means that if you have created a Canadian (containing 26 slips) you need to have at least 0.10 Euros times 26 to create the bet i.e. 2.6 Euros credit on your betting account.

Banker is a way to add extra value to your system bet, the banker is a part of every slip in your system bet and must be correct in order to win.

| How do I get started playing poker?
You need to have an account with Expekt.com. You then need to download the poker client (see below).
| How do I download the poker client?
You download the poker by logging in to your account. Once you are logged in, click on “poker”, which will take you to the poker lobby. In the poker lobby you will find an orange button called “download poker room”. Press the button and follow the instructions. If the download should for some reason be interrupted, start over and chose replace existing file when download is finished.
| I receive expektMPP_PW1.exe is not a valid Win32-program when trying to install the poker room.
This is because the poker room did not get fully downloaded. You will have to re-download and re-install the poker room.
| How do I change between poker chips and money?
In order to be able to play poker you need to have poker chips. In the poker client there is a section called “Bank”. Under this section you will be able to change money from your regular Expekt.com account into poker chips. The poker chips you win can also be changed into real money via your Expekt.com account. This is also performed in the “Bank”. When you want to withdraw money to your bank account go to the Expekt.com account and choose “account” and “withdraw”.
| Can I play at more than one table?
Yes. You can play at as many tables as you like simultaneously.
| What is Rake and how is it calculated?
Since poker is a game played against other players and not against the house, Expekt.com collects a small amount from each pot as compensation for hosting the table. Expekt.com Poker's rake varies between 1% and 6.7% depending on stake and number of players. It never, however, exceeds $3.00 per pot.
| My poker client gives me the message “error connecting”!
In this case you are most likely sitting behind a firewall. In order for the client to work you need to open ports 1962-1988.
| I can not chose an alias, there is already one selected for me!
This is because you already have an alias registered at the Prima Poker Network. You need to use your activation code and fill it out in the registration box.
| I receive the message “error 108” when I am trying to register!
We only accept one user per computer. Therefore, you cannot register on a computer on which someone else has played.
| I am unable to transfer money through the “Bank” in the poker client!
Please make sure that you are entering the amount in US dollar and not in local currency and that the amount does not exceed what you have on your account.
